Sketchy Sketch Group Drawing

I started this a few weeks ago and finished it at sketch group on Sunday morn.  I really like it. I like the very retro feel of the figure and the odd green sharpie color.

Brothel Creepers in Long Beach!

Here are some shots of me and my good friend, mentor, and fellow Brothel Creeper Frank Bird and his wife. Frank is such a talented guy.  He is an actor, he builds cars, and he pinstripes.  A year or so ago he was in Austin and did an impromptu pinstriping lesson for me and a couple of guys at the shop.  After that I just had to geta set of brushes andstart for my self.  This '24 T bucket truck was built and striped by him.  Such talent!

As they say on the blog.  Lots of great links and stuff that artists will like.  If you haven't you should really check it out.  Today the featured this lucky S.O.B. Scott Anderson  This post from his blog is about J.C. Leyendecker an artist for The Saturday Evening Post.  Simply amazing.

Enjoy!
